He graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 1981 with a gold medal award from the Prosthodontic Society of South Africa.
Committed to advanced continuing education, he obtained postgraduate diplomas in Implantology (University of Stellenbosch) and Periodontology (University of Pretoria) and keeps abreast of the latest developments in dentistry.
